My AWOL!

Hi guys! Long time no see.

First of all I would like to apologise for my absence. Lately I have been very busy with university as it is my third year. However, from now on I am going to make an effort to post at least once a week onto my blog.

Secondly, I would like to say thank you to everyone who has read my blog and followed it in my absence. Hello new followers :)
I was amazed when I logged on to see that people have still been viewing my posts and commenting in the time that I have been gone. Thank you!

I am excited to get this blog up and running again :)

My Carmex nightmare.

When i was in school, i always used Carmex, ALWAYS! It was my go to lip balm.

However, since repurchasing it a few months back i have become extremely disappointed with it.

It dries my lips out so much! My lips were a little dry, but there was not any dry skin on my lips when i first applied it! A few days of applying it a few times a day and my lips were all sore and flaky!

I don't remember Carmex ever making my lips worse before, but this time it did! I don't know whether they have changed the formula, or whether i just got a bad batch, but i am thouroughly disappointed!

BAD,BAD, CARMEX!

I will never repurchase this again, and this one has gone straight into the bin! Not a good experience at all.

Has anyone else had a bad experience with Carmex lately?

How To Get Rid of Dark Knees/Elbows.

Since i can remember i have always had dark marks around my knees. If some of you have no idea what i am talking about then here is a picture that i have found on the Web :)

Mine were never this bad, but this is a good example.
I have always been really self-conscious due to the darker spots on my knees, and in the end decided that it was time to do something about it. I then did some research on line and found this natural process that helps to lighten the marks. I got some excellent results from doing this process and thought it would be good to share it with you all. After two weeks of doing this my marks had visibly become lighter.

Dark marks on your knees are a build up of dead skins cells, we therefore need to moisturise and exfoliate them.

What you will need:
Olive Oil
Sugar
Lemon/Lime Juice (Or a lemon/lime)
Cotton Pads/Balls
Moisturiser
A Bowl/Plate
Spoon
Towel

  • If you already have an harsh exfoliator then you can skip this step. I used olive oil and sugar to make my own exfoliator. The sugar will get rid of any dead skin cells and the olive oil will moisturise the area. I used two teaspoons of sugar to one teaspoon of olive oil and mixed them together, on a plate. But you can also use a bowl.
  • Exfoliate the whole of the knee area paying particular attention to the dark areas. This should get rid of dead skin cells around the knees.

  • The next step is to apply some Lemon/Lime juice all over your knee area using a Cotton pad/ball. Obviously if you have fresh lemons/limes then you need to cut them and squeeze the juice out of them.

  • Make sure you cover the whole area thoroughly and then leave the juice to sink into the skin. Lemon and Lime juice have natural antioxidants in them which will encourage the breakdown of dead skin cells.

  • Once the juice has sank into the skin you need to apply a moisturiser onto the knee. I have been using Lush's Dream Cream, however, this month in my glossy box i received Nip and Fab's Coconut Latte which contains cocoa butter. I would recommend using something which contains cocoa butter as well as vitamin E to get even better results.
  • I do this daily, just before i go to bed. However, you could do as often as you feel is necessary.

I hope i have helped at least one of you with this post :) i definitely recommend trying this. It really does get rid of them pesky marks.

My Everyday Make-Up.

Hey guys!
I thought i would do something a little different and write a post about the products i use for my everyday make-up. This way you will all have an insight into what i use regularly, and therefore obviously like to use. For each item i will give a mini review, however, i will not be providing the prices simply because i cannot remember how much i paid for each item.

So here is a picture of my make-up a few days ago, and this is the look that i will be referring to.

So first things first. Before even applying any make-up i will cleanse and moisturise my face.

To do this i use:
  • Ultrabland - from Lush, i have already posted a review on this here.
  • Dream Cream - also from lush. This cream is amazing. Its purpose is to soothe irritated skin. Now i suffer from eczema so my skin is very sensitive and dry, so this cream is perfect for people with skin like me. Its not really meant to be a face moisturiser, however, i find that it really does the trick on my skin. It doesn't leave a greasy residue like many other intense moisturisers, and it also smells nice :)
  • Oil Balancing wipes - Primark. These are my go-to cleansing wipes. I love them. As i have already mentioned i have sensitive skin, and these are the only cheaper cleansing wipes which don't leave my skin in a rash, and still do their job properly. They leave my skin feeling really clean and soft.

Before i move on to the make-up i thought i would quickly give these make-up brushes a mention. Since discovering these almost a year ago i have never used another make-up brush. These are so inexpensive and so sooo good. They are really soft and last such a long time. In the year that i have been using them, not one hair has come out of these brushes when i have been using them. Such good quality for money.

  •  Real Techniques Core Collection - Boots £21.99. This set comes with a Buffing Brush, Blush Brush, Foundation Brush and Concealer Brush. It also comes with the little carry case that you can see in the picture, which i use to keep all of my brushes in.

  • Real Techniques Starter Set - Boots £21.99. This set includes an Eyeshadow Brush, Blending/ Crease Brush, Eyeliner Brush, Eyebrow Brush (which i lost :( ) and an Accent Brush. This also comes with a carry case.

  • Blush Brush - Boots £9.99
  • Stippling Brush - Boots £11.99. These two came seperatly from the sets.

Face.
I don't normally wear foundation, and i am not in the photo, however i thought i would give these a quick mention.

  • Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation - I only ever wear this if my skin is really blotchy and i have had an outbreak of spots. I think in the last few months i have used this twice, so for the money this does last me a long time. It gives a really nice matte finish, it makes my skin look flawless, i would say it gives a medium coverage but is build able. I do find that it feels really heavy on my skin, but i do feel like that no matter what foundation i wear, so i think that's just my hate for foundation.
  • Bare Minerals Original foundation - I wear this when i feel that my skin is looking a bit dull and tired and whenever i have bad red patches on my skin. This gives a medium coverage but is build able. ( I use my Real Techniques Buffing Brush to buff this into the skin) This doesn't feel heavy on the skin, which i love. I love the finish that this gives, and the fact that it is a powder. I have had this since December and have nearly used the whole pot, so i definitely use this often.

Concealers
I use two concealers:
  • Mac Select Moisture cover concealer - This gives a great coverage, so great that i tend to just wear this instead of wearing any foundation. As you can see on the picture i have nearly used it all, which makes me kind of sad. My favourite concealer. The only negative is that i cant use it under my eyes because it just sits in the creases.
  • Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer - The best concealer for under your eyes that i have come across. I have just ran out of this, and will definitely be repurchasing.

who can spot me? haha

  • Mac Mineralize Skinfinish - This looks amazing when put on top of the Mac Studio Sculpt foundation. I use this to contour my face, and because it is a little darker then my skin i sometimes use it as a bronzer, however, now it has gotten a bit sunnier i am going to start using a darker bronzer. This is great to dab onto the skin with a Stippling brush in places that the sun would naturally hit, to give your skin a lovely natural finish.
  • Benefit Dandelion Brightening Face Powder - I use this mainly as a highlighter, however, it do sometimes use it as a blush because of its pinkie colour. I have used this everyday since September and it just doesn't seem to be going down, worth every penny. It gives my skin a natural glow.
  • Sleek Blush in Life's a Peach - I pretty much use this everyday, and think i will probably use it throughout the summer too. Its just a really nice summery colour. Very pigmented and long lasting.

Eyes

  • Maybelline Great Lash - I have always used Maybelline mascaras and at the moment it is not any different. I use this for my bottom lashes, it gives them lots of volume, and tends to never clump no matter how many layers i apply.
  • Maybelline One by One Volume Express Mascara - I have already written a review here. I use this for my top lashes.

  • Urban Decay Naked Palette - £36. I tend to use both of the naked palettes, however for this smokey eyed look i used the Naked palette. Shades, Toasted, Hustle, Darkhorse and Creep in particular. ( the dark brown across to the black) I tend to never use eyeliner because it makes my eyes look really small, so instead i use my Eyeliner Brush and the black Shadow Creep. I just sweep the shadow across my lash line, just like i would with an eyeliner. this does the same thing, but without making my eyes looking tiny. I would recommend the Naked Palettes to everyone! You can create so many looks with these shadows, and they last forever! They are also extremely pigmented!

Lips

  • Mac Prep and Prime - This really moisturises your lips and makes your lipstick last longer. I tend to use this when i am not already wearing Mac lipstick, because they are already long lasting.
  • Mac Cremesheen Speed Dial Lipstick - £14. A lovely bright pink. Very creamy, but long lasting. Cremesheen is my favourite finish from Mac.
And that is my everyday make-up finished!!
This post ended up being a lot longer than i planned. I hope you all enjoyed reading this. :)

Lipstick Dupe | Rimmel vs Mac

Kate Moss wearing Shade 20 from her collection.

As we all know I LOVE Kate Moss's lipsticks collection with Rimmel. If you would like to read my blogpost on them I will leave the link here. So when i came across Shade 20, which is a bright fuchsia pink, i had to buy it! The picture above doesn't really give it justice, it is BRIGHT! And i love it!

This is identical to Macs Show Orchid Lipstick, which is almost £10 more expensive! I have been wanting to get this lipstick from Mac for a while, but didn't want to pay the price for something which i would rarely wear. So i jumped at the chance to buy the Rimmel one which really is an excellent dupe.
The finishes are almost identical (the mac one being an Amplified finish)
So if anyone is thinking of buying the Mac one, i would totally recommend this cheaper alternative, which is also excellent quality.

Does anyone else have any good lipstick dupes?

St Ives Invigorating Scrub | Review

I absolutely love this!
I have insanely dry, but sensitive skin so any other exfoliators that i have tried on my face, have either been too harsh or not harsh enough.
This one is just perfect. It gets rid of my dry skin and also leaves my face looking really fresh, and feeling soft and smooth.
It also smells delicious, which is an added bonus to the whole thing
.
I normally use this twice a week, or whenever i feel that my skin needs a little pick me up, and the container doesn't seem to be getting any lighter. I have had this same one for a few months now, and it just seems to last forever. I am normally short for money so when i saw that this retails for £3.99 i was a bit sceptical, because i didn't want to waste more of my money on an exfoliator that wasn't suited for my skin. However, i would definitely say that it is worth every penny, and recommend it to everyone who hasn't already tried it.
(I know that it has been the must have product amongst beauty bloggers for a while now)

I have the Fresh Skin version of the exfoliator, however, there are numerous versions of it to choose from, so they really do aim to please everyone. :)

Has anyone else used this product? Has anyone had any bad experiences with it?

P.s I \am very sorry for my AWOL lately, i have been a very Busy bee. Wont happen again, i promise. <3

Glossybox February 2013 | My first Glossybox

MY FIRST EVER GLOSSYBOX!
How exciting :)

For anyone who doesn't know what Glossybox is, it is a company who sends out samples of beauty products for people to try out. The boxes come monthly, cost £10 a month and contain between 5-6 samples.
I think that this is great because it allows people to try out new beauty products for a small price. Some of the brands that i have been sent, i never would have considered. However, now i have checked out different products from the brands and have been pleasantly surprised.
The boxes also come in such pretty packaging! You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into them.

So, so pretty and PINK.
With each Glossybox you get a guide on what items you have inside, and sometimes you get discount vouchers for the full sized products in case you want to purchase them.
This months Glossybox was Valentines day themed. So as well as receiving my five samples i also received a heart shaped lolly :) which went down a treat.

I was pleasantly surprised with the box that i got. (Boxes do vary from person to person)

I received:

MeMeMe Fat Cat mascara
Narciso Rodriguez For Her Perfume
Helen E Lipstick
Micabella Mineral blush powder
 Voulez-Vous Body Oil

MeMeMe Fat Cat Mascara
This actually came in the full size, which is worth £7.99. I personally prefer really wet mascaras which have the plastic brushes. So when i saw that this mascara had a bristle brush i was instantly disappointed. I have found that this mascara isn't wet enough for my top lashes, and it doesn't give them enough volume and definition. However, this mascara is perfect for my bottom lashes, and i use this regularly. I don't think that i like it enough to purchase it myself, but i will use it all up.

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Perfume
I cant remember what this perfume smelt like, but it was amazing! I have already used up all of this perfume, and am temped to buy the full size when i use up the perfume that i am using at the moment. I had so many compliments on my perfume when i was wearing this, so it mustn't just be me who LOVES the smell! Just wish i could remember what it actually smelt like.

Helen E Lipstick
I got this lipstick in the shade Caribbean which was a Coral red. PERFECT for me! We all know how much i love my oranges. It is so moisturising, and long lasting. I have almost used this lipstick up, i wore it everyday for about a week when i first got it, i loved it that much! When this runs out, i am definitely going to repurchase it. The only downside to this, is that the lid always falls off! I constantly have to clean it, because the lid has come off in my pocket or bag. Other than that it is great!

Micabella Mineral blush powder
I cant say that i am a big fan of this. The colour is just too dark, for my extremely pale skin. And it is really hard to buff it out on my skin, mainly because of how small the pot is, when i dip my brush into the pot, way to much product goes onto it. I understand that the full sized product wouldn't have this problem, but i just don't like it. I prefer compressed blush powders to this. They are just so much easier.

 Voulez-Vous Body Oil
This is the only product in the box that i haven't used yet. But i have this oil in the flavour Margarita, which i think is kind of cool. Once i have used this i will review it separately :)

Overall, my first Glossybox experience has been a good one :) I have also just received my March Glossybox which i will review once i have used the products inside it!

Primark Embellish Nail Caviar Review

Just a quick post :)

Not long ago i wrote a review on some Nail Rock Caviar that i picked up from Topshop for £7. I wasn't at all impressed with this Nail Caviar, and wanted to see whether or not the Primark one would be any better.

I would just like to start off by saying that the Primark one is almost three times cheaper and comes in a much nicer range of colours. It is also, more importantly a lot better!

Don't get me wrong, it only lasted two days before it was almost completely gone, but it did last considerably longer than the Nail Rock one. AND was so much cheaper! (Cant say this enough)

Applying the Caviar onto the nails is a little trickier with these ones, as you have to pour the balls onto your nails instead of dipping them into a pot. However, the results are still amazing. And it does come with a little funnel, so its easy to put them all back into their pot, without wasting any of them.

I definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to rock the Caviar look and doesn't want to waste/spend to much money. Why buy a more expensive brand when this one works perfectly fine? :)

I have a new camera!

I finally, after months of indecision have taken the plunge and bought myself a new camera!
YAY!

So now my blog will be looking that little bit better, because i wont be using the shitty camera on my phone :)
I also am going to start up a second blog where i will post some of the pictures that i take with it. I have recently gotten into photography and want to try taking some pictures of my own,so my other blog will be a record of my little experiment.

In case anyone is wondering i have bought the Canon SX500, which was around £230 from Argos!
Its beautiful! Love it, and i totally recommed this camera to everyone!

Once i have made my new blog i will post the link in a post :)

If anyone has any questions about this camera feel free to ask!

Maybelline One by One Volume Express Mascara

My make-up must haves, have got to be lipstick, concealer and mascara. I have tried every drugstore and also Mac mascaras possible, and the one that i keep coming back to is this one...

Sorry about this awful shot, i forgot to crop it.

The Maybelline One by One Volume Express mascara. I have probably purchased about five of these over the years, so it is safe to say that it is my staple mascara.
This mascara retails for around £7.49 at the moment, and is definitely worth every penny.

Admittedly i do already have long eyelashes so i cant really comment on how effective it is on lengthening your eyelashes. However, it does do a great job in separating my eyelashes and making them look fuller.

I love the brush! It is the perfect shape for a mascara meaning that my eyelashes get the volume that they need, and i do not get mascara all over my eyelids and nose, which i do occasionally manage to do when using other mascaras...:) oops.

Maybelline mascaras are great in general, this is just one which i happened to pick up and really love, i am sure if i tried more of their mascaras i would be equally pleased :)

Sorry that this is such a short post, but i have been SOOOO busy with uni a the moment and thought it was time that i did a little post, as i have been somewhat AWOL for a while!
I apologise.

:)

EOS Smooth Sphere Lipbalm | Review

These are a miracle!
I am one of those people who have about a 100 different lip treatments, mainly because my lips are really dry all year around. I had never really found one that i was happy with until i came across this! I think EOS might be my lifesavers.I first discovered this while i was in college, when i saw one of my friends with one. (She actually has a blog! Check Jen out (here).
Since then i have been an addict and have probably used up like 5 of these, and have tried a massive range of flavours.
Excuse my chipped nails.
I have am just going to start with the two downsides to these products. The packaging is way too big to put into your pocket, and when the product starts to run out, you have to start to use your finger, and some of it you still cant get to. So as you can tell there are no major downsides to this lip balm, i am just being picky.

I ABSOLUTELY love these!
They smell so good! Especially the one in the picture, which is the mint one! They do their job perfectly, and they last a long time. They are a little pricey at around £6 in the UK, you also have to get them off sites such as eBay, because they are not sold in the UK, however, all of this is totally worth it.

I recommend these to everyone!

My Favourite Lipsticks | Number Two.

As i said in my first favourite lipstick post (here) my favourite lipstick changes all of the time. Since then it has changed a few more times, put for the last few weeks i have been loving two very similar/almost identical lipsticks, so i thought i would do a post on them.

Mac - Lovelorn (left) Topshop - Innocent (Right)

As you can see they are pretty much the same colour. However, the price is considerably different. The Mac lipstick cost me £14, which is what you will pay for a standard Mac lipstick, and the Topshop one cost me £8 :) And to be honest the only real difference is the packaging, brand and a slight colour difference, with the Mac one having some blue undertones, making it more of a bubblegum pink.

Mac Lovelorn

Topshop Innocent

Both lipsticks are a beautiful colour, long lasting, creamy, and easy to apply. I just love this colour at the moment, and think it will still be one of my favourites in the summer. These are perfect to wear everyday, as they are not too bright and overpowering. I think that i will definitely have to repurchase them both soon, as i have already used a considerable amount of them both, and cant decide which one i prefer.

Does anybody else love their pinks at the moment?

Angelica nail varnish | Review

I am here to just do a quick review on some Angelica nail polish that i picked up a few weeks ago. It cost me £2.50 from Primark, and is amazing!

They have a massive range of fashionable colours, and i chose Brit Pop which is a multicoloured glitter nail polish. I think it is really pretty! It is also such good value for money!!!
It is long lasting and chip resistant, i have had it on for about 5 days now and it is chip free.
Sometimes glitter polishes can be very clumpy when you apply them, however, this went on so evenly. i will definitely be purchasing some more of these.

25 things about me.

I thought i would do a different kind of post today :) I have seen a lot of bloggers doing a '25 things about me' post, and thought i would jump on the bandwagon! It just gives you all a chance to get to know me as a person a little bit better, because my usual posts dont really give much away!

Here we go :)

  1. My childhood nickname was Elmo, from Elmo the elephant because my name is Ellie. This actually followed me all the way through high school and college.
  2. I am obsessed with LUSH. Some of you might have already guessed this, but i just love going in their and smelling everything. I  couldn't work there, i would just buy everything.
  3. I work at Primark. I am the weekend supervisor on childrens wear and i love my job. Before i started working there i never thought i would say that i enjoy working in Primark, but i do. The people are great, its such a laugh.
  4. My Boyfriend has a little Jack Russel puppy called Tammy, and i love her! She is the cutest little thing you will ever see. I like to think that she is mine.
  5. I started this blog as a New Years resolution and it is the first resolution that i have ever kept for more than a day.
  6. I have only in the last week learnt how important a good friendship is and how false friendships are better left alone.
  7. My favourite place in the whole world has got to be London. I cant imagine a place to be as amazing as London.
  8. I absolutely love people who are not afraid to be different. I admire some peoples courage, and hope that if i wanted to be different i would have enough courage to do it.
  9. My favourite film of all time has got to be Pitch Perfect, its the only film that i want to watch over and over again.
  10. I love Bruno Mars.
  11. I love the Irish accent, i would happily marry an Irish man.
  12. I cry every time that i watch Marley and Me. I try so hard not too, but its just so sad.
  13. I have a ridiculous amount of lipstick, i would say that my lipstick collection is 4 times bigger than the rest of my make up collection.
  14. I am from North Wales. However, many people have asked me if i am from ireland or scotland? I dont sound anything like an Irish or Scottish person! Crazy.
  15. When i was younger i wanted to be a policewoman or a actress. I never wanted to be a teacher or ballerina like most girls.
  16. I still do want to be an actress. I would love to be in the West End.
  17. My favourite playwright is definately Shakespeare! What a man!
  18. I secretly fan girl over One Direction. I love them.
  19. I find it really hard to deal with stressy people, because i am not a person to get stressed over things.
  20. My new MOTO is 'If someone wants to be in your life, then they will try their best to be in it. If they dont then they are not worth your time'
  21. I have made so many good friends in university but i still wish my Best Friend, Leah was here. Life would be just that little bit better with her here. Its great how you can know someone for a few years and feel like you have know her your whole life.
  22. I regret not applying for universities in London. I think that i would have learnt a lot more there, then where i am now.
  23. I wish the Spice Girls would get back together! They were my childhood favourites. I remember going to watch their film, and was convinced that when they pointed into the audience they were pointing at me. It made me so happy! haha
  24. I have one Brother. I have always wanted a little sister, so i was so happy when my little cousin Alice came along. The only problem is that she plays with my jewellery haha. I hate the fact that i am not at home to watch her grow up.
  25. I have an amazing boyfriend, who supports me in everything that i do. I am so grateful that i have him. (soppy i know, yuck)
And that is the end of my post! :)
I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about me. I actually quite enjoyed writing this. If any of you guys have done this, leave the link in the comments and i will happily go and have a read!

x

Tammy! So cute.

Vichy products | Review

So about a year ago now, i had a breakout of really really bad red blotchy skin. Every time i put anything on my face it would sting and my face felt so tight. It was one of the worst times of my life. It was horrible. Now, i thought that it was my moisturiser that was causing this. This was because other than that i didn't really put anything all over my face. (I don't really wear face make up) So i stopped using my moisturiser and started to research which moisturisers were best for sensitive and dry skin. I wanted something very light and water based, so that it wouldn't be too over powering for my very poorly skin :(

My second pot!

I then came across VICHY AQUALIA THERMAL light pot 50ml moisturiser! There were so many recommendations online for people like me to try this moisturiser. I thought 'Why not my skin cant get any worse' and i popped to Boots and bought it for £16. I did at first think this was a tad expensive, for something which could potentially make my skin worse. However, this immediately soothed and protected my skin. IT IS MY LITTLE LIFESAVER! My skin was healed and back to normal within a few weeks. Since using this my skin has been almost completely blotch free, besides in these winter months, when i have needed a much heavier moisturiser. It has moisturised and hydrated my skin everyday for the whole time that i have had it. I have already bought another pot. (The picture) which i have almost used up.

I just absolutely love this and want everyone to know, how amazing this is!

I have also bought the VICHY Spa Water Spray 150ml from Boots for £7.

This spray contains 15 mineral salts and 13 trace, which help to soothe sensitive skin. However, i would say that this is suitable for all skin types, because it leaves your skin looking lovely and hydrated. So during these winter months i have unfortunately been getting red blotches, and thought that because of how impressed i was with the moisturiser i would try their mineral spray. Within a few days of spraying this onto my face in the morning and before bed, my red patches had  either disappeared completely or had faded. Now my skin is weird because i get red patches for no apparent reason, and then  i get red patches where my skin is dry. The red patches where my skin is dry were the ones which were still slightly visible, and obviously this has more to do with my moisturiser which is E45 in the winter, than this spray. So i am impressed.

My skin just feels and looks so healthy and smooth. Also when i feel a bit sleepy in the mornings, i put this on and it makes me feel and look so fresh and awake. I love this. It has done my horrible winter skin wonders.

So, i have come to the conclusion that VICHY products are amazing for my skin. I will definitely be buying some more of their products in the future and will carry on repurchasing what i already have.

*Thumbs UP*

Does anybody have an recommendations on what product i should try next from this brand?

Rimmel London Apocalips Lip Lacquer | Review

I apologise for the mess on the packaging! Couldn't get the security tags off.

I have read so many good reviews on these, so i got really excited and went out and bought a few. I bought mine from Savers for around £5...i think. Don't quote me on that.
I got a Pinkie colour called Celestial and a coral colour called Luna. I obviously had to get an Orange one :)
I love how they have named these, i think its clever :) haha.

Anyway, so these have an foam applicator brush which has a hole in it, so that the product collects inside it and you don't have to re dip the applicator. I think that's pretty clever, and its also really easy to use this applicator too which is good. Well designed Rimmel!

These lip lacquers are so pigmented and creamy. The also seemed to have moisturised my lips which is an added bonus! The colours are so pretty on, they are so bright and glossy. I hate sticky lip glosses, so this really is a great product for me because it is not sticky in the slightest! Meaning that my hair will not be constantly stuck to my mouth, which is SO annoying!

Celestial

Luna

Now as everybody who reads my blog will know, i LOVE Rimmel lip products. And this is the main reason why i was so excited about the release of these lip lacquers. However, it pains me to say this, but i am not really a huge fan of these!

What i want from a lip product is for it too look nice as well as last a long time. Yes these look nice when you first apply them, but within half an hour the colour has faded and has almost completely disappeared!!! I have heard so many people rave about how long lasting these are, so whether i got a bad batch i don't know. Either way i am so disappointed with these, and definitely wont be buying anymore of them.

Now, i am comparing them to the lasting power of the Topshop and Mac lipsticks as well as my all time favourite lip products the Revlon Just bitten kissable lip stains, however, i was expecting them to last a lot longer. So disappointed Rimmel!!!

Has anybody else had any bad experiences with these?
